How to Create a Magical Pink Girl's Bedroom

Pink Bedroom Inspiration for little girls

For so many girls this would be a bedroom of their dreams. We styled this pretty pink bedroom theme to give you some inspiration for your little girl's room. I've also summarised below some of my top tips to help you to create a similar pink theme yourself.

Colour

You'll notice in a lot of our styled rooms we start with white walls. This gives us a blank canvas to add colour and pattern with accessories. The white walls in this room make the pink decor theme look fresh. We used accessories in mostly soft pink, but we also used some darker shades of pink here and there. We added in some pieces of pale wood and rattan to give a more modern look.

Bunting

We styled our Rose Gold & Pink Bunting in two different ways. A 2 metre length was hung from the top of the canopy to the wall, creating a dramatic effect across the room. You could also use just a 1 metre length against the wall alongside some beautiful prints and decorative accessories, like the image below.

Star Hooks

We love our Wall Hooks for hanging bunting and these Star Hooks were perfect for this girl's bedroom theme. They are so easy to use and even easier to remove. Find out more here.

Must-have Decorations

Wall Stickers

As we frequently style using plain walls, wall sticker have become essential for us. These star wall stickers from are perfect as they are so easy to remove and reposition, which we have done countless times! You'll notice for this bedroom we scattered them in random places, rather than covering the wall.

Framed Prints

You only need one or two key prints for a child's bedroom theme. They really help to tie the theme together. Here we have used a beautiful princess print from Little M Papergoods.

Shelf or Peg Rail

You'll probably already have a bookshelf of some sort in your child's room, which you could use to style some of the decorative accessories. Here we had a large expanse of wall so we added the peg rail. It was great to hang little bits and pieces from, but notice that we hung it at the foot of the bed for safety reasons.

3M Command Strips

Not a decoration as such, but we couldn't style countless rooms without using 3M Command Strips. They allow you to decorate without using screws or nails. They are also really easy to remove, so perfect for when your little one is bored of their current bedroom theme! I used 3M Command Strips to hang the framed prints and 3M Poster Strips for the fabric wall hanging. (Not an Ad).
